Its really not that hot. Maybe i just got use to it considering that i was alifeguard and a cartpusher for wal mart over the summer. Well i also play tennis , then i go to band practice, and then i go to work, so yea im probably use to it since this is my second year doing the same thing.

Our seguin tape was recorded during our meet the teacher, which was on august 14.

Its a drumline competition, some drumlines from the austin and surrounding districts were pick for this. They get $500 just for participating, then they get another $500 for winnig this round. If seguin is to win again, then they get a $1000 money, it all adds up to $2000. We were nominated by Mr. Denis Hopkins to be in this competition.

hey just curious as to which bands are going to the cedar park invitational or whatever its called. Its on October 7th. We seguin are going (not the one in arlington).

Wooo! the blue knights finally past the boston crusaders and it looks like they might have a chance @ passing crown tomorow @ the semi's. Now i really regret not going 2 my second audition for blue knights.

We seguin are also going to the october 7th one i think. If october 14th is an sat day, then we are going to the 7th one.

So far the 13 pages looks really cool. Alot of coll music and drill visual goin on. Section theme day tomorow.

We started last week and we put drills today. We already have 6 pages down. It looks cool so far.

I thought that the cavies by far had the cleanest show and it was really really cool. I liked the glassmen and the top 6 corps.

That SCV show made me fall in love with them. I definitely thought their show was cool. I really , really, really liked the Cavaliers show, it was awesome. Im just curious why this was the first time that they pass the blue devils this summer.

All Seguin people i think should be in section 116. well im 116, row 8, seat 4. And these seats are alot better than last year because we are not at the very top most seat this year.

Wow i cant believe that the song that ive been practicing this whole year is the one that's going to be in the baritone etudes. It is also one of my favorite etudes ever.

Our band director would love it if you do come and watch madison scouts. He is traveling with them right now. He helps with madison scouts.

The Madison Scouts will be in Seguin High School on July 21st. I know because i have to help serve tacos that day and the next.

Our school media did that for us my sophmore year, about 2 years ago. Tehy had someone record and follow us and see how we prepared ourselves for competetion and also if we were going to make state that year. It was cool.

Seguin's new assistant director is mr. craig davis (i think thats his name because i cant remeber right now) and our new drumline instructor his name is also craig but cant remember his last name and i dont know who our color guard instructor is yet.

Well i won the baritone holding contest and i also won/tie the "who can listen to your band director game". That game was from everybody in the band except for the trumpets because they were with mr. hopkins in sectionals. Well my section tied with the tuba and got third place. The drunline got 2nd place and the mellos won. I dont remember what they won. Well at least we have freshmens interested in the band camps.

Well the drumline won the waterballoon toss today but i dont know who won the march off today because i was at sectionals. Tomorrow we are suppose to have a baritone holding contest and another march off. Then on friday the 2 sections that won the previous days will go head-to-head in a capture the flag game. Each section leader created flags and "buffs" for their section. Like the Survivor show.

well i just had my student leader training today and we had decided to have a "Survivor" kind of thing for our camp this week. Well this camp is all about basic marching for the 4th of july parade and we have deicded to have games in the mornings. Its the battle of the sections. Its going to be fun this year. Just curious if any of the bands here are doing something similar.

That is alot better than ours. We went to Dallas last month and we played for Metrofest competition were all the other bands are middle school bands. So we got outstanding band and straight ones. We went to this spaghetti place and saw the dalls orchestra after that. but before all this we went to the mall. Yup thay was our spring trip. We were suppose to go to Disneyworld but our school district is not letting anyone compete to any out-of-state competitions except the cheerleaders. So yeah. that was about our trip right there.

Hey um im from seguin and we find out what our show is on thursday after school. Our BD just kept saying that alot of people told him that it was a good idea and that it is more musical. I dont know what he meant but thats what he told us.

I heard rumors around Seguin that all 3 of our band directors are moving. I also heard our Colorgaurd instructor is quitting. I know for sure that our Drumline Director is quitting, well his really moving across town to Texas Lutheran University. Those are just what I heard going around the bandhall. I don't know for sure. Do you know anything about this Moose, since you are from Seguin???
