2006. Bell's "The Remaining." Giant white sheet ending the show in finals. Crazy.

I foresee Cedar Park and Vandegrift battling over 1st and 2nd at state for years to come. Sort of like the Bell and Marcus of 4A. Of course that's a bold prediction. A lot can happen in other programs between now and next year.

I find it strange that no one else has posted anything about Pflugerville... They tore it up at Arlington, placing fourth under only Bell, Marcus, and Berkner. Many people have them placing in the top half of the super-regional...yet, they didn't even make area finals. I feel like a bad time slot and questionable judgement really hurt them at Area, and that it can't just be a difference between BOA and UIL thing because when I've seen them, they have played really clean and musically, and their marching wasn't suffering either. Oh well. That's just the randomness of marching band sometimes. It will be interesting to see how they place on Saturday.

Except for certain "locks" like L.D Bell, Marcus, etc. This contest is all over the place...I find it really hard to predict who will end up in finals...What do you guys think? Finals Predictions?

No...we felt great about the performance and that it was the best that we had done, so he wanted us to remember that, rather than show us the video so that we would see our mistakes (because obviously we made some, we weren't first) and remember those instead of how great we felt afterward. We finally got to see it though...and in a way I wish I hadn't...it doesn't seem as good as I remember it being now. So, he was right in his thinking.

We're pretty large as well I think. We have around 220

Geez...they just won state, what do you expect? As for Hendrickson, we weren't just "being classy" towards Dripping Springs. They're from our Area, kind of like a sibling, it was an extremely close competition at Area, and we were truly congratulating them. They deserved it.

Congrats to Hays and obviously major congrats to Dripping Springs. Keeping Area D representation strong.

Personally I think Vandegrift will make an appearance at state their first year open. From what I've heard anyway.

Wow......Translation.... Hendrickson's show is called "Look Up" and is sort of based around believing in yourself. It has "Javelin" by Michael Torke, Parts of "For the Love of Three Oranges" by Sergei Prokofiev, and "Someday I'll Fly Away" from Moulin Rouge.
