When I saw the Drum Major drop the trophy, I did not get any notion that it was a drop of class. To me, it just felt like he was extremely excited and was coming back to his band with a huge amount of adrenaline. Thought I'd add that last note I feel there is a good friendship between Dripp and Hendrickson, which is why we were very excited for you.. and why we had also applauded and screamed for you, at area. P.S Whoever Dr.Pericles? is, stop saying how proud you were of our class, because we were about as "classy" as any other band there. Every band had enough emotions to have good and bad reactions.

Wow. That's a pretty dang good guess. If only you had switched Poteet and Friendswood, you would have had it exact.

Congratulations to all bands. It was a very tough year and I am sure everyone in that dome should be proud of themselves. Congratulations to all medalists. Got to see Dripping and Friendswood and both blew my brain off. Great job

Thank you. We still have alot of work to do to show that we've earned every step we've made. I expect amazing things from all the bands showing at state, this year. It is my opinion that it will be a very tough and close competition, and every band will put on an incredible performance. Reguardless of placements, everyone should be proud.

There were several weeks of work to gain after Westlake. If a band is willing to work hard, the sky is the limit.

I didn't call them underdogs because of their history.. But, from what I looked at, I didn't see or hear a single person say they would be in the top 5 this go around. I heard alot of Steele, Hays, Dripping, Vandergrift, and Hendrickson. But, everyone worked really hard and that's all that matters

Speaking of LBJ. That was another shocker. I don't think hardly anyone expected them to rise up. I was rather excited to see another underdog make a stand. It has been a great year! I believe state is going to be extremely tough and there's a long week ahead of all the advancing bands. All of the band that didn't advance can get some R&R and prep for next year. Should be amazing

Yes, Hendrickson was on right after you. I get the same feelings. Right after a performance, I feel great and proud... But, then I hear other bands and, unless they are obviously not really good, then I feel like we just got totally womped on. But I guess it's harder to tell from a field level. I was surprised by the results at area. I was hoping you guys would make it. You were there because you earned it and you have a pretty dang good band in the making.

Did you get to see it at Area? We heard great things about you guys all year. We are very happy to make it to state with you guys. We'll forever be competitors, but we respect you guys, too.

It was defnitely a very large statement. I look forward to seeing you guys next year! Come next state year, I'll be watching from the stands to see your band, as well as mine.

We had heard a few things from our Fine Arts director, as he judged you at one of your previous competitions, and he spoke very highly of you. When we were at the gate, waiting to march on after you, I was very impressed. You guys sounded awesome I can see you being a very tough band to beat, in upcoming years. Best of luck to you. Congratulations to all competing bands. It was a tough area and everyone deserves to go home with their heads held high.

I have honestly never even heard of Crocket 93'. My sister even went to Crocket some time ago. I believe I ruptured my kidneys, and who knows what else, laughing. Thanks for making my morning amazing; it's going to be a long day
