I also saw Bell's UIL performance at UIL as well as their HEB exhibition from the Saturday before. I was extremely moved by the constant pace and speed that Bell is moving at, they are getting better every time they march. Regarding the marching fundamentals, Bell is constantly changing things up to better themselves for SA, learning new material all the time can be tough.There is still 2 weeks to go until Super regionals and like in 2009 where Marcus won the Arlington region that year. Bell won the Super regionals.I loved Marcus music, Im not as happy with their show this year as I was wowed with them last year. While Im a James Bowie fan, and definitely think they will give both Marcus and Bell a STRONG run for the money. I have seen the changes in Bell's show since Arlington, as Daniel Sanchez put it at HEB exhibition, about LDBell..OMG! wow! Cant wait for SanAnton, its going to be a fight to the finish!!

Yes! LDBell had a show called "Honor, We will Remember" last year. They took home 3rd at Grnd Nationals 2010

I TOTALLY agree! In the first block its almost as if only 1/3 of the Trumpets are playing, way too soft. I saw Bell at Arlington regionals and Conroe this weekend an I was sitting in the middle of the stadium, Im sure the guys at the top had a hard time hearing. I love the Shosty music and Ive heard much smaller bands perform that piece much bolder than Bell. I must agree that they were performing better in Conroe than at Arlington but I still cannot hear the trumpets. If Bell can kick it up another notch and practice practice before Super Regionals than they have a chance. Does the incredibly difficult music and drill make a difference to the judges? Marcus had a safe drill and strong clean muscial performance, but to me, it was not as extertaining as in years past.If Bell can step up the music and make the drill cleaner then they will be GREAT! The guard was amazing and I hear they are going to be just STUNNING at San Antonio. Good Luck!

Bell has the ability to do anything "IF" they put their HEART and SOUL into it. I have seen Bells show at Arlington and they came in 2nd by .05 points, REALLY .05? I have to admit. Bowie was incredible because their music was crisp and LOUD and just beautiful with all the winter colors.Many spectators couldnt hear the trumpets nor the woodwinds in Bell's show. Bell Color guard was my favorite. BEAUTIFUL! Marcus is a fabulous band always has their "game on" when it comes to the music portion.I cant speak for their show this year as I havent seen it. As for Bell, to really knock it out of the ballpark and beat Marcus, Bell will have to be CLEAN CLEAN and LOUD

I was at BOA Arlington yesterday and LD Bell and James Bowie did a fabulous job! the difference between 1st and 2nd was just .05! They tied for GE. So how could you forget Bell ? I think if Bell could just step up the strength and play a bit LOUDER ,the show will be perfect! Hard music and hard drill for Bell. Cant say enough about Bowie, great great great and FAST! If they were going to BOA Houston they would DEFINITLY be a finalist if not top 3! thoughts?
