  1. http://www.vrhsband.org/marchingfestival.html There's contact information on the festival webpage.
  2. Full score sheet for prelims: http://www.musicforall.org/images/stories/...XCO.Prelims.pdf For finals: http://www.musicforall.org/images/stories/...TXCO.Finals.pdf And Pflugerville should have marched in the finals as well. See here for the explanation: http://www.musicforall.org/resources/fall-.../2011/conroe-tx
  3. I was just looking and haven't seen the breakdown of the scores. MFA also hasn't posted the prelim scores that I've seen on their website, although I've heard Cedar Park was 5th overall in prelims.
  4. Marcus show title is Vanity Fair, complete with 7 working Ferris wheels on the field. Don't remember all of the songs, but if you are on the MFA fan site the video should be posted from Conroe by the end of the week and you can see it. It's a good show (obviously because they won Conroe). Their balance is fantastic, staging is great. I wished for a little more power, but that's just what I like.
  5. You should get in contact with the Vista Ridge Band Boosters and see if they would like this weekends festival broadcast. Seems like that would be a natural for you guys.
  6. Here's Cedar Park's latest from last Friday night. If you're on the BOA fan network you'll want to check out the Conroe performance too. It's a good one.
  7. Cedar Park, but since that's my daughter's band I'm biased.
  8. Here's the latest CPHS performance from Friday night if you are interested. Less wind noise but lots of crowd noise this week on the balad. If you are in the area come to the Leander Festival of Band at Bible stadium Monday 9/26. The Leander Band show is very good too, as is Vandy and you can see CPHS's show live. I know that Vista Ridge and Rouse will be good too, but I haven't seen those shows in person yet so I can't really tell you about them. Leander is playing with renewed power this year.
  9. Here's the first performance of the year for my daughter's band. She's one of the screaming trumpets. And here's where the show is now.
  10. Follow the Cedar Park Band Season here: http://www.youtube.com/user/TimberwolfBandTV
  11. You can follow the Cedar Park Band's season here. http://www.youtube.com/user/TimberwolfBandTV First video of the first two parts of the new show Genius should be up late Friday night/early Saturday morning. The first two parts by the way aren't the loudest or the fastest. They will ROCK Indy and the rest of the BOA shows if it sounds like I think it's going to sound.
  12. The CPHS show looks to be fun...and loud as always. I think you guys will love it when you see it. As far as Houston goes Woodforest Bank stadium has much better parking than "The Rig"...at least that's the impression I got going to both BOA in Pearland and USSBA in The Woodlands last year. There's also more stuff around Woodforest Bank including places to eat which isn't the case in Pearland. There's also direct interstate highway access to Woodforest. All of those might be a reason for the move.
  13. It was announced at the football game Friday that starting next year Cedar Park will move to 4-A. If that's the case two years from now should be interesting with Cedar Park and a full power Vandergrift going head to head with everyone.
