They are very helpful. The four mallet etude is the only one I'm having trouble with right now. Its progressions are pretty weird.

Even though I'm a Cavaliers fan, I really didn't think that they would get higher than what they got. But I have to say that their battery book was incredible. I don't care what anyone else says about being "too dirty for the Cavaliers". Jim Casella writes the most musical battery books in DCI.
