Lol Duncanville had the worst time to perform. When they started the clouds opened up, and they performed in heavy rain and Lightning . With that being said, they were fantastic and would have probly over taken Rowlett in a final. Duncanville seems to always give me what I want as a Fan and I have always loved that big sound and solid marching they always bring to every contest. Even in the thuderstorm

Area C 2010!!! Sachse gets Alternate, and Rowlett finishes 1st! What could add to this is if Coppell and Sachse finished close to each other

I would agree with all of those, I had a 1st in music for duncanville, but I'm bias to sexy Uniforms!! . I don't think Sachse Should have been Alternate, and I think if Finals would have taken place they wouldn't have been, but thats my opinion. The top 4 would have stayed the same 4 but maybe a different order.

Yeah that 60% comes when finals start. Untill then prelims is looking like 30%. But hey it's Texas it snows when it's 70 out and doesn't rain even when the sky is black at noon. Atleast at Area C the field has been upgraded with a better drain system than before and its the same style field as the Alamo Dome. Why doesn't Mr. Jerry Jones just let all the Areas play at Cowboys Stadium. You could have B on Saturday, C on Sunday, than Cowgirls on Monday

I know they would march if it was just rain, but it's scattered Thunder Storms with the highest chance when Finals would start! So I bet if they finish Prelims and the storms wont moved out for a while they would either try and wait or just take prelims rankings and use those for who advances. If that isn't enough, what ever the wind is in the stands it's 10mph harder on the field becaue of the stadium design. darn You Nature!!

Yeah I know, but there are ways to solve that problem, one of which is say forget the football team they suck anyway. Others would be, perform at the end of games, or just screw announcing band member of the week, b/c nobody cares at the game and they could announce that in practice at the school. I'm sure theirs other solutions, but I want to be the fly on the wall when the God Father sit down happens

See that was going to be my finals but b/c some one wont fix the predictions, you can't select some of these schools

It wasn't that long ago that UIL had 10min shows, seriously BOA and UIL need to have a sit down like God Father style and agree on some similar rules so these problems stop occuring

Yeah it was, we were standing in formation in Cavy, and I couldn't hear what my friend was saying because the crowd was so loud. That was a fun year to be in DCI

I feel bad for all of you that have to get up that early, I'm glad both Region and Area was held at Mesquite Memorial, all you had to do was take 2 exits and and 4 lights from my house, or 6miles and I was there ready to go. So I feel bad I never had to do that, but for Lufkin and other East Texas schools they did if they got an early slot.

Didn't fit our style??? It did, but in all honesty the brass part was way to hard for us in Rocky Point, and in Sonoran Desert only 5 out of 12 trumpets were allowed to play it, and only 2 out of the 5 were 1st part. The brass section was under construction on the worst year to do it, and as you can tell now, Poteet rebuilt to 2 state titles, same thing now in 2010!!! I was a sophmore in 2003 and I remember being told we tied for 7th and they voted us 11th!!! But it is what it is, we got 11th, got the Poteet band pissed off, then came back with the attitude that we would never be left out of finals again, seemed to have worked well....

They could use the power of lysol and still not may not be enough
