I don't see SGPH making finals, they just don't have it this year . the other 9 are good, but that last spot is a toss up, but I will be there All day seeing as my friends sister goes 1st and my cousin goes on with Berkner

Some of the Area predictions need to be fixed

Favorites would be in no order: Berkner, Coppell, Duncanville, and Rowlett Dark Horses: Sachse, and North Mesquite(No pun intended) I will post the schedule after dinner, I'm hungry and the Rangers are getting beat

Couldn't they make San Antonio and Corpus into an area and brownsville and Larado into another, or something to that nature. Out of all the cities they could put the 2 that are close to each other in 1 Area? Just throwing out an idea. I just think more schools would have a shot at state than having the massive area, but that's just me

Cavaliers 95 FTW, fine Cedar Park and one of the tyler schools did it way back and it was nice

They need to break Area G up, thats an insane amount of schools. IDK how they would divide the lines but breaking it up has an upside as well as a down, but I will let the masses on here argue about what those are

Thats what I was thinking, b/c my memory of Cedar Hill was a band improving, but not state ready. Also the top 3 spots are locks, and we all know who those are, but that 4th could go (IMO) to 3 different bands, but the early top 4 in no order are: Berkner, Duncanville, Coppell, Rowlett. With Sachse on the outside looking in and North Mesquite as the dark horse trying to make state in forever. (No Pun intended).

Do people know something about Cedar Hill, that I don't? People are placing them to make state and I haven't seen them so I'm just wanting some 411

Poteet 1997!! Not because I was at state skipping school in 3rd grade with my family to watch my cousin perform, or that I went there from 03-06, but because that was the best version of Ballet Sacra I have ever listened to, to this day from a MARCHING BAND. For those who may not know, Poteet marched 9 trumpets that year, and only 7 could play, the other 2 were alternates stuck in there when 2 people got sick/failed. Cavy 2004, Sorry I was 17 and was playing James Bond while marching with one of the best Drum Corps, I don't know if I have a better reason than that.

Yes....That means area finals will got that much better!! I can't wait, Area C this year is going to be so close. This is going to be a fantastic Area contest, but I will retype what I have been, Come on Dallas send those schools to area this year!

Looks like another solid contest. I haven't seen the North Forney Band in its' short life, and Newman Smith and the Colony are always solid. I can find 7 locks to finals but the other 3 slots are toss ups because I haven't seen some of these schools TY for posting

Do people have to be negative towards other schools? If you don't like the show or something about it, then don't say anything, those kids deserve the respect of positive input. For the past 8yrs I have listened and read judges comments and none of them just RIP the bands performance, they are all positive with input on where to improve. Can people please either shut it, or give postive feed back with areas they would like to see improved please.
