I was at their public performance last night and it was a much different show than the one presented at BOA-SA and UIL State. The music was incredible and the new drill was very effective. Last night the L D Bell Band did indeed HONOR all who will serve (the young men who took their oaths), are serving (the Marines who participated in the program and the TCU ROTC Color Gaurd) and those who have served (including at least 2 WWII era vets and numerous Vietnam era vets). Pennington Field in Bedford had a full house for this performance. Kudo's to the two young men who played Taps at the end...it was very moving.
