Thanks for the wonderful review! I didn't get to see Day One so this was a great way to get an idea how the bands did.

I was there with binoculars and noticed as they were entering the field and setting up that he ran over to the directors and it looked like his drumholder (whatever you call it) was broken. There wasn't time to fix it, so he marched without. I though he had both drumsticks, though. I felt really bad for him.

Woot woot for all the Texas bands competing in Grand Nationals!!! Tomorrow morning I board an airplane for...you guessed it...Indianapolis! I get to go watch Grand Nationals! Unfortunately I will miss some of prelims, but I will get to see all of finals and semi-finals...Yay!
