oh ok I get what you mean now. I totally agree with you on that

because you are in band to make music, you just happen to move at the same time. its marching BAND, so music should always be the most important part. Having good marching fundamentals and forms is important but music should always come before visual. bands that make great music generally do either well or great in the visual category also anyways

I have been going to the state marching contest for a while now and I just have to say that it is amazing at how many great bands there are here in Texas, every band that performed on Tuesday totally deserved to be there. I enjoyed every bands show and thought they were all great

On the rise Cy-Woods (area E)- Have been getting better ever since they opened Hebron (Area Johnson- did really well at boa woodlands Spring (Area F) Vandegrift McNeil North Shore (Area F)-kind of a mini rise, they went from a band 6 years ago making 2's and 3's and now they have advanced to the state marching contest in '08 and now in '10 Haltom

The Woodlands, Brazoswood, Spring, Spring Westfield, North Shore, and Clear Lake Those are just my predictions
