Blue Devs 03' was awesome but mine is BD 04' b/c of hte great arrangements in Take The A-Train and Summertime is always awesome. So I guess I might be wacko but It's definatly great in my book.

oh cool and I'm sorry too. but I guess I mean the craft thing is decided by who believes in it. I think the kids part is true as you said but the Gov and adult types are the ones who fund it and make it, so that's y. If they don't fund it is would seem to be dyin'. So I know what you mean but I just think music programs should operate without Gov funds b/c they are that special. And we are that cool. maybe Whitacre will save us all.

very true. I was just saying that now and days the instrument is becoming a lost craft so to speak. And I was pointing that at the use of singers for an alternative. Still, I do love a power house hornline myself. just to make my point nothing like madison scouts 95'. sorry if I was dumb lol

I don't like the singer but seriously, a singer can greatly boost the cool factor of a drum corp show. However, this one made me gag. Nobody hate on me like many of the other forms cause that's why I don't post often.

for some reason I think people under 25 are uncapable to Whitacre and Saucedo has some pretty good pieces in orchestra and symphony. so yeah I voted Saucedo. just like the Imogen Heap stuff is going to be over used in a year and love that stuff but hey who am I to talk?

congrats to bluebell or Trumpet guy I know. Well I had a general question for the populus here in the DCI section. Does anybody know the average or actual count for Blue Devils horn lines? I got invited to the January camp and want to know my chances.

Music Major and Tx State, really good music program and most people don't know that.

mine was a Nats this year. I had just hleped pull the big white tarp off the feild and I bawled for like 10 mins and then Mairon Rosander talked to us and told us he had never seen such a great show in his life. I love marching. I'm going to miss it.
