  1. This was our second year at BOA, not third.
  2. Haha false, if you kind of follow MavBand, you'd understand why. And I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that's commented that's actually a student.
  3. Lol'ing because the truthfulness of it made you feel awkward... And well, CTJ made 5th. What do you think their chances are. Great. Duh.
  4. Joe, you haven't seen half of the 4A bands out there. Quit trying to kiss CP's......... all the time. They're good. But you're getting obnoxious.
  5. CentexBandKid is right, it's just a random pick.
  6. I'm going for either Cedar Park or Vandegrift to take the title. More for Vandegrift though.
  7. What's the difference between taking first place by a percussion caption and taking first place by an auxilary caption?And/or taking last place by a percussion or auxilary caption?
  8. Lol quote from the last Cedar Park person I talked to, "So now that we both got beaten, can our rivalry end? We should be aiming at Vandy now."
  9. I was going to say the same.
  10. Well first in music, marching, and auxilary should= first in GE as well in my opinion. But this is why I am not a judge.
  11. But I think it's harder for a color guard to run around the field, dance at the same time, and manipulate flags and other props really well than it is for a dance team to have a few "bam" moments with a quick flash of their dress.
  12. I was pretty suprised with Vandegrift receiving first in auxilary. I really think that for auxilary, they should be required to use flags, rifles, or other props to get first, rather than just having a "dance team". Not to negate a job well done by Vandegrift, it's just my opinion.
  13. I'd say Round Rock and Cedar Park.
  14. Double touche.
  15. I don't deserve a congratulations on Round Rock's behalf, but congrats to them on their win as well.
  16. Yeah but BOA SA is more prestigious and competetive than BOA Houston. And with Reagan I meant more that they've become inconsistent over the last few years, whereas before they were constantly one of the ones on top.
  17. I never said they weren't going to make finals. I said that I don't think they're without a doubt in finals. They're both very good bands, I'm not denying that. And well I don't know, last year Churchill didn't go to state. They usually do. And I'm pretty sure the year before they got last in finals at BOA SA.
  18. Churchill and Reagan have gone down a lot over the last few years. I would not agree that they are in the "lock" for finals. Round Rock has devised a very BOA oriented show this year, I would say they are more likely to make finals than Churchill or Reagan. Same with Westlake, I think they're more likely to make finals. I wouldn't even put Pflugerville or McNeil in the running.
  19. Andddd Round Rock gets 1st place in standstill. With bass and cymbal captions.
  20. Lol oh. K. That was an extremely kind PM you just sent me by the way. Except you blocked me from responding. DARN. You should share that thought with the rest of the forum. Hmm?
  21. Jazz run pass through was in CT Johnson's show, not Westlake's. You FOOL.
