Two Questions. Why is Wakeland splitting up? "Centennial" Second is Which Centennial are we talking about?

Even crazier Silver Medalist North Lamar receiving a 20th place ranking in prelims although it was just from one judge that doesn't make much sense, maybe it's jsut me thinking this is odd??!

First of all I don't get why UIL puts more emphasis on Musicallity when its MARCHING band. I'd rather see amazing marching with good music than horrific marching and great music *cough* Queen City *cough * cough *

Ties to me a very confusing too me... UIL's way of breaking a tie isnt very fair but it works for them. In my opnion a tie shouldn't be broken and they should just allow the band that tied advance or break by soem sort of competition like a drum-off

I highly doubt if this were to be the case that they would start 2 hours earlier seeing that the contest already starts at 7:30.

I'm sorry that you didn't rank higher this was a very good performance and you should be proud... I definitly know where your coming from. My band last year tied for 7th in prelims and the other band tied for 7th made it to finals so I see the how frustrated you are... but don't let poor judging take away from how excellent your preformance was!

I havn't seen either band this year but I was at area D and I think Burnet might challenge for 2nd or maybe 3rd

Argyle and Canton are the top programs in Area B in my opinion with Argyle looking to pull the repeat

thats a tough one... for me its either L.D bell's exodus or Reagan's beyond perimeters those two shows were great

The thing with Round Rock is that thier performance was well executed, although I agree the music sounds incredibly easy... I only saw the youtube show, I was at 3a area D though, not like it matters

Thats what i've been hearing.. I was at Area D yesterday and I got say I really like Burnet's sound and Taylor maybe a dark horse they sounded amazing yesterday

Should be interesting to see if argyle can pull off the two-peat
