Well, I can honestly say my entire marching season I have failed to fall during marching shows. However, I have rolled my ankle during this crazy drill we do with the clarinets, but the pavement was wet. We all know how marching on wet black top is scary especially when you have a lot of momentum and have to close on the white paint. NOW that's scary.

Yeah, I know how you feel. Lol

I have a feeling that Hendrickson and Connally will make it from the places they've got at competitions. Great bands.

Most bands over here do a glide step with knees slightly bent. I can't think of a band that does not lead with the knee around here.

we lost to cp. and yeah, we almost won, but we didn't make the touch down. uuugh, oh well, i'm just glad I don't have to go to a play offs game anymore. however, its sad because i marched my last show on friday. but we changed the visuals a bit.. I'm sure Cedar Park kids noticed. LOL They couldn't stop laughing. I bet the directors are pissed.

Sounds like what our band does. But its a clarinet players that say it.

Because of our marching style, people have been having messed up knees. It's straight legged. You are not allowed to bend you knees at all. We've had a couple of asthma attacks during the show. A girl that was dehydrated was rushed to a hospital. The funniest part is that its always a clarinet player of some sort, so its like a little game on who is going to faint first. I can proudly say I was never an injured clarinet except at Westlake. We learned this visual that made us completely bend our right knee. Well, during stretches I hurt it really bad, but I marched on!!!

My opinion is that if you are in band one should not care if they are called a band nerd. Just being in Band makes you obvious that you are. SO BE PROUD AND GLEEFUL for that you are a BAND NERD

BOA SA should be interesting. I want to see if I can go there. Round Rock HS, is not good enough to compete at BOA...or so the directors think..... HE said Round Rock might next year though.

Apparently, one of my friends from McNeil is doing the Hey Band. Btw, McNeil disregard a male clarinet that asks everyone if they are single. You get used to it, but in ways its hilarious because he asks the men too.
