    I think it's kinda messed up for Cedar Ridge to schedule their contest on the same day as Westlake, which has been on the second Saturday of October for 40 or so years. Even going so for as to call their contest "The premier Central Texas Band Competition," when the Westlake Contest has been around so long and was the only contest in the area apart from UIL for Decades and this other contest is in it's fourth year. It just rubs me the wrong way. Why isn't it being held a week later?

    Houston is southeast Texas, Austin is the largest city near the center of Texas. Come on Guys. -Says the guy born and raised in Austin with a Texas History Teacher Mom.
