I nailed my region music chair test the othe day, but since three people in my section of 9 forgot to say their name, EVERYONE has to do it over again. And that's the only time I've ever played through that part perfectly...

someone posted it in these forums a few months ago, just go search for the only part of the music you can understand "it's music, now dance" might find it that way.

Sitting and playing gets extremely boring after a while... not a long while either. Moving, doing fun stuff while you're playing, now that's hella cool. Marching, hands down.

I saw a couple people at the crossmen camp had them and were nailing double Gs and double As this weekend. Anyone have one? Or a Jet Tone, cuz those seemed to work the same. I think I want to try one out, just want to see if anyone else already has.

So what exactly is the proper 4 to 5 (jazz running) technique? I've heard plenty of different ways for it, but in all 4 years of band I've never had to do it. So could someone with some experience help me out here? Thanks.

here's my list, in order from best to not as best =p enjoy 1) Santa Clara Vanguard 1989 Music of the Night, right at the end. Blast that in your car and see if you dont' smile =p 2) Phantom Regiment 2003, the upbeat Pachebel Canon part at the end was insane. 3) Phantom Regiment 1996 the first really loud big hit with all the low brass sounds... amazing... 4) Phantom Regiment 2006 the last two minutes of the show or so, during the part when Marguerite is revived. 5) Star 1991, at the end when they're rotating the giant cross with the screaming mello parts.

since someone else brought up Phantom. How many captions did they win this year? Music Ensemble and Percussion? What else was there to win other than colorguard?
