2025 Wildcat Marching Festival-Godley: Sep. 27th

I saw y’all’s show at the game on Friday AND on the 4th floor in Denton. Imo, y’all had a better run at the game, however, Saddle Up was a fun show to watch and I can’t wait to see what y’all come up with next season!

You’re from Gatesville, y’all have flower props(that are beautiful btw), I remember that “wilt”…….

4A Area C has already switched to an indoor competition on Saturday, that’s why I was bringing it up. 4A Areas A and E have their inclement weather days on Tuesday, Election Day.

We’re talking about IF they both get rained out. A standstill could happen. I was asking what day would that be if that were to happen.

Southwest’s show is Entangled and is executed really well. I saw them before Godley performed at Region 30. I believe they could make Finals with ease. I saw Alvarado’s show this year as well, it’s entitled Metal and is really good. They should make Finals. Venus’s show is good, but in my opinion, compared to last year, this one is too simple, but has a uniqueness that others don’t have as it’s entitled Saddle Up. Benbrook has a Christmas/Wintery theme show and could be executed better and needed more work as it’s entitled Frosted. Our show[Godley] is entitled Upon Reflection and has some things that need work, we have the third mvnt to finish cleaning. I’d like to see us make Finals, but our time slot will make it tough. Brock’s show, for them to be a first year 4A, is based on The Lion King and they’re executed it really well, I could also see them making Finals. I haven’t seen Springtown’s show yet. Kennedale’s show could go either way, Castleberry has a wonderful show, I could see them in Finals. I’ve seen Aubrey’s show and I could see them make Finals. Lake Dallas, with their show and a drop from 5A to 4A, I could see make Finals. Krum, there should be no excuse to why they shouldn’t make Finals and Panther Creek should win this Area with China Spring in 2nd.

I disagree with Kennedale as Alvarado, Gatesville and Brock placed higher than them at Sound of Springtown.

And our band performs at 2:45, behind one of the BEST bands in Area B. It’s a tough time slot.
