    Lake Ridge won finals, and took the music, and visual caption awards. That show is starting to come together. They sound really good!

    Lake Ridge is actually doing quite well. Legacy, Lake Ridge, and TImberview all have new head directors this year. Lake Ridge has improved drastically over the season, and have made it in the top 5 in each of their contests (Preview of Champions, Little Elm) and won first in the Wylie Marching Invitational. They are doing well considering all of the changes, and having a smaller group. They have a shot in advancing!

    They actually won Area B as a second year school and is the youngest band in TX history to make State finals. Lots of great things happening over there.

    I've worked with these kids before....They are all really bright kids, and have the drive to be good! Majority of that group are freshman, so it's even more impressive!

    Mansfield ISD is hosting their first ever contest this Saturday at Vernon Newsom Stadium. I know the Mansfield schools ( except for Legacy) are going to this, and Timber Creek high school from Keller. Does anybody know who else is going?
