I wouldn't count Dawson out of the top 5 because they have been right behind Friendswood, and 4/5 times beat them in ensemble music. And Dawson was also only 1 point away from winning area F, the scores being 1,2,2,1,1 for Friendswood, and 1,1,2,2,2 for Dawson. Both of these bands have amazing shows and have a chance to really dominate. I might be slightly biased since I am also a Dawson student.

I know its a little early, and the area competitions are happening over the next few days, but i was just wondering what everyone thought what the resluts might be.

I think that Dripping Springs will be first, and Coppell right behind them. Dawson, Waxahachie, Wakeland, and Poteet will be fighting for the next 4 spots depending on how well they preform. I think Dawson is going to do well even though they didnt make finals at LSP because within a week they came back and got really close to beating Friendswood who had won LSP by a 3 point margin...

idk about friendswood, they've been consistently beaten by Dawson and other people they usually beat, it doesn't seem they are doing as well this year...

Dawson and Friendswood advance from Area F, Dawson placing first and Friendswood placing second. Good job to both of them!

some bands may have better or worse performances at different times, and also if you looked at Lonestar preview they placed 1st in prelims and second in finals....
