yeah...i was VERY surprised at colleyville getting 6th honestly, i thought they were REALLY dirty but they played very well lots of crazy things tonight one thing is for sure marcus got what they deserved :]

yeahhh i play clarinet and i only played a non-virtuoso solo once, and that was my freshman year. and i got a 2 because i forgot a part of it lol buttt last year i played Debussy's Premiere Rhapsody and got a 1 this year i played the 2nd mvt of Rozsa's Sonatina and next year im playing Hindemith's Sonata for Clarinet i'd say the virtuoso list is a good thing. and for the most part, with the exception of Rozsa's Sonatina (b/c it's SO fast), the pieces on it arent hard

there are so many scores that are flat our retarded, but that's UIL for you

well there is obvious politics, if you look at the scores. UIL is the worst about it. 2 years ago at state, we got 11, 12, 9, 13, & 29. mmmhmm.

noo area b is most def. the hardest in the state
