I've got 3...world history, calculus AB and spanish. I'm not worried about any, because the first two classes have been preparing very well...the last I'm going to fail flat out-I have no language skills!

We actually do live auditions...and with the 300+ people, it is quite a feat for the directors!

Ws sell ads for our band directory over the summer, and have fundraisers like the HEB giftcards, washtub coupons and entertainment books. Last year was way better in fundraising for the Rose Parade: we moved flocks of those gaudy pink flamingos from lawn to lawn: we were paid to remove them and send them to another house (of the victim's choice)!

I guess I'll have to answer with the same.....Daniel! I think that there will be a lot of complaints next year, but that Churchill can do very well with it. I wish I was marching next year! I'm going to a private school for math/science, and the denial about losing marching band is hitting hard. But, on the brighter side, I will be able to watch every band that makes finals at BOA SA from the stands this year!

Yeah, he's started to grow on me...my band played Turn Not Thy Face, and it was tough, but sounded impressive (on our better days!) At the beginning though, everyone hated it, including me.

So far we just know that we're doing as much Persichetti as possible...the top three bands played various pieces that he wrote this year for UIL

We have dinner and listen to the really long awards and speeches etc...and we have the interesting things like superlatives, of course, and a slideshow of seniors' pictures. It ends with a dance.

but you have to admit, it is one reason that people keep checking back here...what if one day something REALLY IMPORTANT happened and nobody was watching?

young I see a flaw in that some words don't have multiple antonyms...where as every word can bring a related subject to mind...
