Frisco_Centennial_Pit

This is Centennial's finals! I wish I could find a video of our prelims, which was (in my opinion at least) better. Though I am in pit so I couldn't see the marching or anything, our prelims just sounded a lot more powerful.

That was hilarious. I loved the slow motion wave that went around the stadium. XD Thats what happens when you leave band kids alone when they're nervous and unsupervised. Who were the drum majors that broke the chain and stopped it though?

Reagan's a boss. Our percussion director told us that we just needed to go around shaking all our woodwinds hands as well for their crazy parts in the opener and closer. XD

We're hosting and performing exhibition at Centennial Marching Festival that day! Thank you though!

I was told by a band member who's parent is a member of our Boosters that they're expecting more bands to try to register to compete after Area competition, depending on whether or not they make State. though this was secondary information, and I'm not sure how reliable it is, or if they're actually going to allow it.

This Saturday is going to be crazy. Centennial's more than ready.

Frisco Centennial's finals performance at Tournament of Champions. Aside from one slight tear and some sound system problems in the pit (we had to turn the Vibes completely off) this was our best performance yet.

Wait so we ARE sending six? Phew.

Does anyone know for sure how many Area B will be sending? All band from Region 24 got 1's, but what about all the other bands?

Yeah it was pretty impressive. And thanks so much. You went to Newman Smith, right? Because I'm convinced that our success this year is mostly due to Mr Centera coming in. I can't wait to see what we have in coming years though, because this was kind of a weird transition year for us.

Yeah. Every school got a one overall, but Lake Dallas got 2, 1, 1 as their scores. Their band went nuts at announcements though. It was cool to see.

I don't know... I was able to see BOA Finals at Arlington, and Bowie's show this year... wow. They beat out Bell there, in case anyone's forgotten...

There's not so friendly rivalries in Frisco, with Centennial and Wakeland. I don't think it would ever get to the point of really really hateful rivalries though. We just get joy from beating them. XD In all honesty though their show is really good this year, and the main reason we aspire to beat them is because they've made State before and Frisco Centennial's only made it once. We actually talked to their pit last year at the game. (Mostly because they had a 6'6 marimba player and we had a 4'9 vibe player and we wanted to put them side by side because she only came up to his elbow...)
