euro_euph06 Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 2005 The Bluecoats - Caravan They have a powerful, balanced hornline with an amazing colorguard and a rockin' drumline. At first hearing the drum speak, I instantly fell in love with the concept. I can't wait to see how they will fair this year!!! Quote
mbui Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 2005 Bluecoats as well. I'm excited that it's going to be on the big screen next month for the Classic Countdown. Although I watch the show several times a week on DVD, I still can't get enough of it. Quote
bluebellbrass07 Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Cadets by faaaaar! That is probably my favorite ballad ever. Next is a toss-up between Bluecoats, Phantom, and Crown. Quote
AndrewPCarr Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I remember coming off the field and while circled up, hearing Southwind's show, and I remember really liking it! I need a recording of that... oh...and '05 'Coats Possibly biased... Quote

CHS King Mello Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 just out of curiosity... did any of you buy the 13-24 corps dvd? In my opinion, ALOT of the shows (Colts, Crossmen, Southwind, Captial, Cascades, plus more) all have great shows, and are in ways more entertaining than the ones that made finals. -C Quote
mbui Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Yeah, some of you have that haven't experienced Crossmen 2005 really need to buy the DVD or CD. Best non-Finalist show, ever. Should have made Finals over Spirit, IMO. Quote
Danpod Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 The Crossmen 2005 show plays constantly in my car. The music is quite catchy and I love the ballad. The whole show is like a 10 minute long rock beat. If you watch the video, you can definitely see why they didn't make Finals. Not a very clean visual performance considering that the visual program wasn't as challenging as any of the Finalist corps. If you read the YEA! website, they have vowed to change that this year. Can't wait for their 2006 show! Quote
Moose Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Most entertaining - Southwind - A distorted reality . If you havent seen it, I have a video, Ill probably be able to upload it here. This show is awesome. I could watch it over and over again. I cant wait to see Southwind 06. Best overall - Phantom Regiment - Rhapsody. The judges obviously disagree with me, but I had them in first. Definately the crowd favoite. Nice new direction for Phantom. Quote
