viccro Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Has anyone else seen V for Vendetta? I was hoping that someone had caught the name of the songs that V used when he was demolishing the Old Bailey and the Parliament buildings...although I recognized them, I couldn't identify either. Quote
Danpod Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Vicki! I saw it on Friday and I loved it! The explosion music should sound familiar because it was The 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky =) Quote
euro_euph06 Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Dude.....I really want to see this movie. Although---I still cant believe that Natalie Portman cut her hair!!! And I've heard that Huge Weaving (Agent Smith from the Matrix series and Elrond from the Lord of the Rings series) is V. Is that true? Quote
BlinK Day 41 Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Yea V is played by Hugo Weaving. I want to see it it looks like a really cool movie, it actually has a ton of people who worked on the matrix trilogies (not to mention being written by the Wachowski Brothers) Quote
viccro Posted March 20, 2006 Author Posted March 20, 2006 Daniel! Ok, thanks. I wasn't too sure... I agree, it was an extremely good movie! Quote
euro_euph06 Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Political views aside....this movie was awesome!!! I like how it made you think...yet had a ton of action. 5 Stars (out of 5)!!! * * * * * Quote

Aegis Fang Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 I saw Larry the Cable Guy tonight... if anyone cares... it had a LOT more storyline than I expected Quote
mnkymafiaman Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I saw v for vendetta this weekend, and it was indeed an extremely good movie; better than most in a LONG time. The songs found in the movie are on the website http://vforvendetta.warnerbros.com/index2.html - click on soundtrack at the top. It doesnt have all the songs, but it has several. Quote
EuphToth Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I havn't seen V yet, but at one point in our show, our director always puts his hands up in a V for the movie. I think he's kinda obsessed with it. If you knew him, you'd laugh at it. Think old hippes. Quote
zackee Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 wow... 1812 overture is an awesooommmmee peice, especially when buildings are being blown up to it Quote
