I dont know about "favorite BAC show yet..." Higdon writes REALLY good orchestra music, and uses primarly strings... I'm not sure how BAC is going to make Blue Cathedral a brass friendly song.

 

So far, sounds good. I just hope they dont kill the pieces.

Check out L.D Bell 2005 and 2004 I believe. Now granted they had woodwinds, but very good arrangement. Doesn't "kill" the piece.
