The Mavs and the Spurs start the battle Sunday at noon. The Mavs are rested (perhaps over-rested) from their sweep of Memphis, and the Spurs won't even get 48 hours of downtime after their hard battle against the Kings.

Mavs in 6! :P

Spurs in 7

On a side note---the Lakers will win tonight against the Suns and face the Clippers. Lakers in 5 over the Clippers. They will face the Heat in the Championship. That means it will Kobe vs. Shaq. Lakers in 6 because Kobe will average 40+ over the series.

And that is my two and a half cents. B)

That means.....

Lakers over the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals??

I bleed Rocket Red. But I've gotta say....

This was by far the most depressing season that I have ever experienced. Yao, Tracy McGrady and the rest of the team going down like flies with injuries....I thought it was all a bad dream. sad.gif

There were a couple of bright spots though.....

Rookie Luther Head getting LOTS of playing time due to the team injuries. All of those minutes will only make him a better player.

Good positioning in the NBA Draft. We need shooters to compliment Yao & Tracy!!

The emergence of Yao Ming. After his long and overdue toe surgery, he was just down right scary in the second half of the season. I can't wait to see he and a healthy T-Mac together. It's going to be exciting. smile.gifsmile.gif

Speaking of the Lakers, I hope Kobe embarasses the living crap out of Raja Bell and the Phoenix Suns. I want him to go for not 81 but 100......

Hey, it fits Phoenix's style of play!!

I agree. Hopefully next season will be way better than this past one for the Rockets. Ill at least try to catch the Lakers/Rockets game next season.

And I hope Kobe does that. Raja Bell should have been suspended for the rest of this series for what he did. Even if it wasnt Kobe that he did it to, that was a stupid move on his part.

I cant believe the Lakers/Suns game. It is not even over yet and the Lakers are getting pounded. And they took Kobe out with five to go. Granted they were down by thirty, they still should have gave Kobe the ball.

But unless a miracle happens, I step down from predicting the play-offs. I guess I will have to cheer for someone else know...maybe the Clippers . But seriously...what a disgrace!

Couldn't find a picture with queso. sad.gif

I might have to take a picture of my meal next time we all go to Alamo Cafe!!

Spurs lead the series 1-0 Mavs.

Pistons lead the series 1-0 over the Cavs.

The Cavs got slaughtered 113-86. In other news...Steve Nash is MVP for the second time. Behind him was LeBron and Dirk. That is messed up. Kobe goes off for 81, averages 35+ a game, and leads the Shaq-less Lakers to the playoffs.

Trying to catch the game from the radio in San Antonio...no success, then i stop in a Cici's Pizza in New Braunfels and it was 1 minute left, and we lost =(...the people there were laughing at us

In other news, South Padre was great. A dirty town, no good hotel service and not very good maids. The McDonalds was bad and so was the water. Shlitterbahn was ok, but South Grand Prairie got 13 trophies and overall best band, meh.

Oh, Jake, I saw Three Rivers!

Steve Nash is one heck of a player, there's no doubt about that. However.....

Carrying a team with players like Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, Lamar Odom & Luke Walton into the playoffs is more impressive than what Nash did in Phoenix with an Amare Stoudamire-less team. IMO, Kobe should be the MVP.

Spurs in 5 over the Mavs... they've got the momentum right now, and they haven't even been playing that great. Once they come on strong, nobody's going to stop them.

*my bad, I'm one series too dumb =p*

And finally.

Spurs over Cavs in 4.

Lol, hey, I'm allowed to hope right? I know the spurs will make the finals, probably win them too, but not sure how much.

I don't think the Spurs will be playing the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. Head a state north and you'll find your team.....the Detroit Pistons. smile.gif

As die-hard of a Spurs fan I am, I'm not sure that the Spurs will be able to beat the Pistons. For that matter, I'm not sure if anyone can. Especially the Cavaliers, after losing to the Pistons by almost 30 points.

Well...they did last year. And when they won the champioship two years ago, they played against a Lakers team that was about to split. So...even though they had the best record this year...they still have to play and win. And besides the Cavs only have LeBron. He can only do so much until he is worn out.

Spurs lead the series 1-0 over the Mavs.

Pistons lead the series 1-0 over the Cavs.

Nets lead the series 1-0 over the Heat.

Suns lead the series 1-0 over the Clippers.
