Miken Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 If I recall correctly through the haze of history, Crockett's championship shows in the early 80's were Paula Crider's creations. (She later went on to become the director at Univ. / Texas.) I *think* those were her arrangements, but I wouldn't swear to it. Mike (Johnston HS (Austin, TX) 1989-90 to 1992-1993) Quote

JP Yardline Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 "It's actually pretty unlikely Mark Higginbotham arranged 1994 because he was a student in the band in 1993." Not true. Higginbotham graduated in 1988. He is in his early forties. His first arrangements were for Cy-Falls HS in 1992. It was the music of the movie "Hook" We arranged together in 1993 for Cy-Fair HS. Correct, Fredericksburg won Class 3A in 1979, not 5A. Quote
TxDragonDad Posted November 11, 2018 Posted November 11, 2018 I just stumbled upon this Thread. I was a student in the Georgetown Eagle Band during its domination of 4A state in the mid-80s. All of the shows were written in house. (on paper, without computers) Quote
