christus_spohn Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Ok, so far the McNeil 2006 show is un-named. We have gone through many names but none of them seem to fit. Maybe someone else has a good idea. Our show includes the following: Movement I: Opens with "Morning" by Greig, but is mostly "Barber of Seville" by Rossini Movement II: "Morning" by Greig with the drumline playing "La Cucaracha" Movement III: "William Tell Overture" by Rossini Any suggestions will help! THANKS!!! Quote

Aegis Fang Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 you could always go with something quick and cheesy like our band did this year and call it something like energy, or intensity, or power, or speed... Quote
MartinHorn Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I though morning rush was a good idea. And isn't it La Cucaracha? Quote
christus_spohn Posted May 20, 2006 Author Posted May 20, 2006 Morning Rush is a good idea. We were thinking about using the word Opera in the title, but I don't know how to use it. Quote
MartinHorn Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Quote And isn't it La Cucaracha? Lol good to see you edited it on your first post. The Morning Rush Opera? Quote
artishard Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 i don't know, i think just....Morning Rush is cool. plus, i like the fact that you're putting william tell overture in a show. that's awesome, one of my favorite pieces, and not because of the trumpet/horn part that everyone knows Quote
