Xenon Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 It's THIIIIIIIIIIISSS Big. Oops, I guess the subject is a little misleading. With all of the construction completed about a year ago, my Alma Mater is now just over 800,000 sq. ft. of interior space. That makes it the 2nd largest HS in the nation by physical size. When I graduated we had about 3,900 students 9-12. I think they have about 4,300 now. Quote
Hawkeye Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Currently is getting a new gym, but we had 2,800 students last year in grades 9 - 12. Quote
trumpetman1288 Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 My school is getting close to 2,300 students. If you scream "la migra" down the halls, however, that number quickly drops to about 800. Quote
TRtrumpet Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 LMAO! ^ I go to a small school. About 300 kids in the Highschool. Quote

BlinK Day 41 Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 man texas schools are big. We're about 2000 up here (medium to large sized school for michigan) Quote
PrideOfPearland Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 hmm about 27,000....oh you mean high school... about 3,500-4,000 and still rapidly growing. and thats only 1 high school in the whole city. Quote
ClaireAnnette07 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Umm..we just got classified as a 5A this past winter sooo, I think we're prolly at 2300 students in grades 9-12. Our formerly small city is growing rapidly, thanks to new neighborhoods being built left, right, and center. Our school wasn't built to hold so many students, so they're building a 9th grade center. Too bad it won't be finished until late 2007 & us seniors are using portable buildings for some of our classes (I have AP Calculus in one!) Quote
