itsstephenyo Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 hehe... i've known the sax etudes for a while now, but im not in high school any more so that's useless to me. to be fair, though, i also didn't tell anyone about them. Quote
trumpetman1288 Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 WOOOT.... Hey trumpet players...the trumpet etudes seem to be getting easier as the years go along...don't you think? Quote
Fortisimo Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Yeha, definitely. The etudes when I was a freshman were really hard, and actually still are for me to this day. I dunno if you remember this one, but the fast etude that year that had all the minor arpeggios and repeats ands stuff (it was in B minor) was really challenging. The other fast one (that started on a G on top of the staff and went down in 16th-16th-8th patterns) wasn't a walk in the park either. Quote
Trumpet Master Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Could somebody post scans of the trumpet etudes. I lost my Selected Studies book It would help so much, until i buy another book. Quote

The one that got me was the other one...that one was kinda iffy in some spots... Trumpet Master...I would scan them, but as much as it pains me to say, our scanner broke recently Sorry about that man. Anyone else willing to help this kind soul out that HAS a scanner? Quote
the_DRUM_MAJOR Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 the bass clarinet etudes..WHAT, 5 FLATS, and the second piece..ahh!! Quote
x04ty29er Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Hm. This is interesting. But whatever. It doesn't matter to me anymore. I'm not trying out. I'm not allowed(I think). Quote
