andrewband07 Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 what kind of pranks do you guys pull on your directors fellow students ect.? My favorite is the band allarm clock but it is hard to get set up since you have to have alot of people to play at that persons house in the early morning and you risk getting the cops called on you (are directors will do that) Quote
TRtrumpet Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 (We got in biiiiiggggggg trouble for doing this) bus these two kids in our band (Who's names will be kept private, lol) decided to put some condoms in our directors bag... not only where they comdoms but one of them was open and spit in to make it look like it was used. Lets just say our director wasn't to happy. Quote
trumpetman1288 Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 We fill people's mutes with water. That's always fun. Oh, and when they aren't looking, we pull their tuning slide out as far as we can without them noticing. It's funny to see them getting yelled at for playing so horridly out of tune. Quote
trumpetman1288 Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 No, the REAL fun one. During a quiet section in a song, pull someone's arm hairs out when they are wandering off. It's funny to hear them try to stay quiet and pretends it's nothing. Quote
andrewband07 Posted July 26, 2006 Author Posted July 26, 2006 Another one we have done is we went driving around town picking up stuff that people were trowing away like a recliner chair, hunting decoys, and redom crap and coverved the marching tower that the directs were in with it we put the chair under the tower entrance so the directors could get in the whole band got in trouble for that one. FunkyFlute07 Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 ha. once we sprawled out the contents of our cart thing... the tuner was on the floor, as was the metronome and a lot of other important stuff and we made a big crash sound. it was funny because our director comes running out of his office having a heart attack talking about how much it was going to cost to replace them.......and we just started laughing....he was SOO mad but he saw the humor knowing that nothing was broken Quote
BlinK Day 41 Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Mm one fairly elaborate prank which involved several section leaders and a drum major allowed for pages of nudie pics to be placed a few pages into everybody's flip folder for stand music . . . didn't go over too well when the BD found out :-o Quote
andrewband07 Posted July 28, 2006 Author Posted July 28, 2006 once a couple of our drummers had a bad rehersal and were chewed out by the drum BD and they desided to paint ball his house and that BD still doesn't know who shot up his house and its been 3-4 years now Quote
TX Suh-nare Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Whatever happened to the good ol' TPing the BDs house? Oh, yeah! Our new band director HATES it. Guy can't take a joke. Guess I'll have to bust out my whoopee cushion on him. Quote
BlinK Day 41 Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 baloney his car actually don't because that takes the paint off but if you really hate hiim then do it! Quote

Aegis Fang Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 on Halloween, i was the only person in the entire *200+* band to wear a costume. I had a giant ketchup bottle costume, and it looked sweet. Quote

Fortisimo Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 A lot of us always burn this song entitled "Endless Love" that we have to play every year for the homecoming court. Omg, that song makes me want to disembowel myself. Quote

TX Suh-nare Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 No. Evil is playing Pomp and Circumstance for an hour and a half while 650 seniors trudge along a stage to get a diploma. Quote
trumpetman1288 Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 We've managed to shorten that time playing P&C from 45 minutes to about 15 by making them walk in two lines instead of one. Yay us. Quote
