so here's an update. marcus just recently turned down MTV. it turns out that the contracts basically said that MTV would own you. (psht, like this is a surprise???) i think the idea is a good one, but i mean come on...who honestly would let it happen?? i think the world can go without a show called "band geeks".

Wow thats good news then, besides who would want a show about marching band, not saying its a bad idea but knowing the shows that go on mtv they would probaly make marching band look so stupid, and if they would call it "Bands Geeks" just the name makes fun of us...very idiotic idea.. But glad Marcus turned the offer down

I must admit I'm relieved; a Laguna Beach-esque show about band would just be plain painful to watch. Now if someone were to do a band show like "Totally in Tune" (an old Disney Channel series about kids at a performing arts school), that would be good.

there isnt a link to the story because the story hasnt been fully developed. its not even to the stage of filming. and i know this about MTV and band reality show beacause a good friend goes to marcus and my director even confirmed what was happening. but anways. who else was chosen? BOA you say? why am I not surprised lol.
