I voted bass. I'm completely biased though.

I do prefer bass anyways though, because bass is all about chops and brains, you don't have all these flashy stick tricks and arounds that snares and tenors have. Of course, a good drumline smokes without having all that stuff.

Chops, not props. That's my overall stance.

I am weird because this is how I listen to drumlines...I put the sound of the tenors and snares together and I count the bass as their own group. I am not fond of the snare sound by itself, but to me, it's like the icing on the cake; it only makes it sound better.

The tenors...I think it looks cool to play, but I don't like the sound of those drums for some reason...I think it's because they are too bright.

Bass....like mentioned before, a clean bassline is AWESOME. When you can get a bassline that sounds like it is one person playing 5 different drums rather than 5 people trying to fit a rhythm together, then that is a pretty wicked bassline.

So in short, if I had my pick, bass :)

Althought I really loved bassline my freshman year, I had to pick snare. It's what I had always wanted to play ever since I found out about marching band in middle school. Yay snare! B)
