TRtrumpet Posted August 29, 2006 Author Posted August 29, 2006 Some girls like throwing them at us. Quote
MartinHorn Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 For all that's holy let's hope it's unused. Quote
TRtrumpet Posted September 14, 2006 Author Posted September 14, 2006 Don't know what happened, but this idea sorta just went down the drain. Our last two away games have both been mixed and this one thats coming up Friday is supposed to be too... oh well. I like it better that way anyway. Quote

The colorguard should get their own bus because they almost always have to change on board. I'd hate for some Freshman to get his mind warped while he watches 40 guard girls strip in front of him!!!! Hey, If I was that freshman on the bus with most of the guard girls from my school, my mind would be ANYTHING but warped! Quote

lionbc Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 For us, "hand check" and "ride the roller coaster" go interchangeably. If some one were to yell out, "HAND CHECK!", everyone would put their hands in the air above their heads(with the exception of the joker saying,"Hold on, I'm almost done!"). As you can see, we have co-ed buses. The only problem with this is if you get the chaperone with a stick up their bum who won't let you lean on your boyfriend when you are really tired because it's 11 at night. I couldn't have slept anyway because I'm on what we call the "Trombone Bus"(boyfriend is [trom]boner). Good times...songs and stories. Quote
Arabella Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 We just sign up for busses during our class period one day, generally nobody switches. Mostly first band gets bus 1, some of second band is in there as well. Second period (second band) generally fills bus 2, and third band is bus 3. We also have some percussion busses and a colorguard bus. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Uh, we used to just do section seating. Instrument A and B on one bus, etc... except for long trips on a charter bus, where we got to choose where we sit. Quote
MmCheezItsYay Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 for football games and contests in our area we ride with our sections... im not sure what we're gonna be doing for UIL state though... Quote

Ha, that's funny. Rest on the trombone bus... I'm scared to sit too far back there... Quote

PSSSSHHHHH...more like...what happens on the bus...stays on the bus...for two minutes...until someone oversees what happens and text messages everyone on the other buses so that they can tell everybody ON the bus and then when it's time to warm-up before a competition/game everyone already knows. that's band for ya. Quote
TRtrumpet Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 Haha, yeah thats more true right there. What happens on the bus should stay there though... for the most part. Quote
