LETS GOOOOO TEXAM TEXAS!!!! AND AMERICAN FORK!!! 12/12 on finalist baby, but my goodness I’m so unbelievably happy right now, almost started crying for Leander Propser and Bridglenad, my heart was RACING!! Happy to see BA in 2nd in 4A, tonight is going to be insane. Bit surprised Marian wasn’t top 3 in 1A, no surprises in 2 or 3A (don’t know how I knew castle was gonna was gonna win visual), Carmel tying for music is no shocker, definitely there biggest strength, was just hoping I’d be with BA. Can’t wait for tonight!! See ya’ll in a couple hours!!

HUGE Congratulations to the American Fork HS marching band. After 29 long years, those kids from Utah finally made their way back into Grand National Finals! I just know all the alumni over the years must be so proud right now.

They’re a real anomaly because they have a magnet performing arts program. I googled it and it’s called the Leadership Conservatory of the Arts and has multiple music ensembles like that of other public high school band programs

SO happy for team Texas, they sure made the finals reveal dramatic for us, didn't they?

Best of luck to all the Texas schools in finals, and to everyone else as well, because these are just some unbelievable shows and they all deserve huge accolades.  What a fun day.

But hey... I'd be okay if we stopped referring to this as a "Texas Lite" year, yeah?

HOWEVER Leander making it after missing BOA San Antonio finals and Prosper earning finals after missing 6A state finals confirms what we all hold to be very true  Texas is where it’s at!! Congratulations to the 4 TX finalists on earning another run and a massive THANK YOU to all 6 TX bands for representing this incredible state so well on the national stage.
