Amazing run from Vandy!!! I will admit, I wasn’t really feeling it, may have peaked a little early me think. Still, some really great musical moments, that double tonguing in the high brass is really impressive. Super pretty ballad, very mature sounds from that Oboe player. Visually very strong as always, a couple individual issues but overall solid, amazing job Viper band!!

Hebron was good and clean, with a hard musical book, I just wish I felt content with the winner. Most years there is a clear winner, but none have gone above and beyond from the rest to separate themselves from the pack.

The only band Ive seen the audience collectively like without bias is The Woodlands. Other times it feels like they feel obligated to give a standing ovation. I wanna see the magic from CTJ 2017, Vista Ridge 2018, etc, where the audience undeniably gets on their feet.

I remember at BOA Bedford finals there was a couple that was trying to find a seat during the beginning of Aledo’s performance and people were tryna get them to just sit on the steps and wait till the end of the performance and the man in the couple was coming across as combative and people started fussing, it was very uncomfortable …

Penstriped continues to be the standard. No show has even come close to Hebron 2021 in 3 years. Flower Mound did their job and now they are about to reclaim the throne. Flower Mound….Congrats from the Clarinet player.

Oh Lord, I'm agreeing with the clarinet guy somewhat. I'm not feeling any of these top 3 (even Hebron buddy). Maybe I'm just tired. 

They've executed their shows well but it's not waking me up.

Agreed, after penstriped i cant think of marching band the same, that is just the new standard for the winner and in my opinion, nobody has been able to beat it so far.

MY GOODNESS FLOWERMOUND!!! The individual marching technique of these group is unreal, wouldn’t be surprised at all if they take it tonight, and tbh I have no clue if it’s gonna be them or Hebron at this point, could go either way. Drill was also ridiculously clean, big shocker. Musically amazing as well, WW small ensemble with some top notch, and that ballad is so gorgeous, wonderful job Flomo!!!

I think Hebron has it tonight, but falls to at least Flo Mo at state due to the differences in the scoring system.

Spoiler, its hebron, you can say what you want but in my opnion it will be hebron, love the rocky point holiday, I played it in high school and just a really cool show overall, this is my prediction for winner, though i will say flower mounds show is amazing, great Ge

Ok but like judges can make scores however high or low, thats why you cant cross scores over contests or years.

The Clarinet Player is right I fear. Nothing screamed “Winner” like Hebron 2021 did. I didn’t feel any of the top bands tonight (you’re not tired MarchingMafia).
