I did like Flower Mound’s McNutt beats, but I think Marcus was definitely the best group tonight.

I do love a good mcnutt drumline like FloMo and Im pretty sure he writes for RR too. I also do like the Markworth writing, love how clean Mcneils battery is doing with it, would love to see some harder music for them. Like i said before I love Marcus battery, always like how Keenan Wylie shapes these kids

To my fans. You are not alone. To those who remember watching Penstriped Live in 2021, you saw the only show that made me feel something. It’s the reason why I chose to attend tonight’s finals. I wanted to feel music again. I wanted to relive the experience that solidified my love for this. I am currently leaving the AlamoDome in thought, pondering if the marching band world will ever fill the void. Penstriped will always have a special place in my heart, as it the pure definition of music. It is also the reason why I am choosing to walk away. We are due for something big in 2025. 2017 had The Forest through the trees. 2018 was lost and found. 2021 was Penstriped. In 2025, what school will write their name in marching band immortality. Who will join the likes of 2017 CTJ , 2018 Vista Ridge, and 2021 Hebron? Only time can tell, but for now, love one another. Godspeed.

Do you know who writes for Vista, I see the boston in them with Brian Perez being their new percussion director so I wouldnt be surprised to see Mcnutt there too with their close relationship

Good luck to all bands tonight. It’s going to be close for quite a few bands, but they all did remarkably well. Band is always better in Texas.
