As my user name implies, my kid's in the Vandegrift band. It was definitely not their best performance. And it weighed heavily on them. But to their credit, they picked themselves up and rocked it at the UIL State Finals.

They certainly picked it up! It was a wonderful two performances at UIL. I really thought they were about to win.

They also put up a great prelims performance on the day of San Antonio too.
