Was quite wrong on placements preds but everything seems right to me. Congratulations again to everyone who competed here, it was an amazing night of Texas marching band!!

Vandegrift has now gone a complete year undefeated (pending prelims results, though I have a strong feeling.) Congratulations!

results look fine. Vandy win has been obvious. the only change i would have made would be Rouse over Cedar Park. recaps up. looks like Rouse was indeed 2nd in effect, tied w/ CP in vis, but then lost to CP by too much in music perf.

judging upstairs vis, i don't think i would have scored anything higher than an 82, maybe 83. in agreement w/ Jackie on that tonite. def some room for growth there. ofc the awful wind didn't help. those poor flag girls!!

lots of score jumps today! i loved seeing all of you in the drum major retreat, congrats to every single finalist and congrats to vandegrift for winning! i know you guys will do good this season

to Round Rock, you guys had an unexpected and amazing show, you guys are literally crazy when it comes to this show, i love it so much, congrats on your placement!

to Leander, what a fun show! its a very good show and you guys are always thinking outside of the box when it comes to marching band! love your guys' show amd congrats on your placement!

I heard the Rouse penalty was because of a band parent on the field without credentials.

A color guard tech had only a prelims pass on, not finals

it wouldnt really have counted because the subtotals still wouldve had rouse in 3rd, so the deduction didnt knock them down any places

even though it didn’t affect placement, no band is going to take losing points unnecessarily lightly. i’m sure they’re going to never make that mistake again

from what i've heard, Rouse hasn't had as many rehearsals as the other programs because of heat advisory. I think it's gonna be REALLY close between them and CP, especially if it's within less of a point now and rouse hasn't rehearsed as much.

Yeah, it's been so much hotter at Rouse high school than it has been at Leander, Cedar Park, Vista Ridge or Vandegrift. 😕

Rough start for a couple of bands, namely Lake Travis and Vista Ridge a little off where they usually start their seasons at.

Vandegrift is outstanding as always, they’re surely contending for a win at SA.
