Clear Brook was hurt by not having a complete show ready to perform this week.  It will be interesting to see what evolves between now and UIL Area marching contest.

Ditto for CTJ! Back in the top half!

Clear Brook placing in the top half last week and missing finals here is a little surprising, but also fairly typical for early season BOA regionals. There's probably not much of a judging consensus right now. And there's still a lot of time left in the season. I wouldn't sweat it too much. I'm looking forward to seeing their full show -- everyone's full show, really.

The top 3 in 4A are correct, I think, based on what I saw through the stream. I probably would have had them in a different order; however, that may just be because I had different levels of expectations for each of them. Lots of room for growth across the board today.

As a Klein Oak alum, seeing them in top half for this competition is so unreal. If you wouldve told me that they'd be in any BOA finals or even playing alongside CTJ and RR in any competition 4-7 years ago, I would have a better time believing that world hunger was solved. Good luck to everyone performing!

Just as a note, Clear Brook has homecoming dance tonight and would not have competed in finals no matter what. It’s very possible they would have made it but opted out due to this.

Wow Bridgeland! “Rough” is the last word I’d use to describe that. What a stunning show! I missed prelims so was super excited to watch finals after the prelims results. Keep it up and have so much fun at Grand Nats!

To be fair, this is a massive improvement over just a week ago. They did great, so proud of our kids.
