Okay Foster kid here (and if you didn’t ask for my opinion I’m sorry, I’m still gonna say it anyway): It’s complicated. Not only is our preliminary performance so early, there might not be a finals on Saturday with what the weather’s looking like rn, so I can’t say with certainty that we’ll overtake them. Am I saying that we can’t try? No. We absolutely can; we have that potential. Maybe I’m just thinking too much about the weather??

Maybe, if judges manage their numbers well/Foster has a good run, I could see them over Brook.

I think Brook still beats them in Vis.

Even if the weather isn’t bad on area day, it’s still supposed to rain the rest of the week, which limits outside rehearsals, which limits cleaning up their shows.

4-6. Clear Brook (Love the theme and the uniforms! Guard and percussion splendid as always!! Also their ensemble sound is just so awesome!!)

4-7. Foster (hmm…I wonder who these guys are… never heard of them 😜- in all seriousness, we have what it takes to make state but performance time is really screwing us over)

6-8. Pasadena Memorial (all I have to say: HOLY. DRILL. 🤯)

Rest Of Finalists:

7-9. Fulshear (Holy opener! So fun and killer low brass!)

8-10. Shadow Creek (beautiful flute soloist and VERY clean feet holy crap… idk if I should place them higher 🤷🏼‍♀️)

9-10. Clear Lake (I haven’t seen their show yet but they consistently make finals so I’m going off of that…I know that’s not very good evidence to back up my ranking for them, I’m sorry)

Finalist Bubble (because this Area is CRAZY):

George Ranch, Travis, Ridge Point, Clear Falls, Elkins, Clements

Aww! Thank you! My daughter graduated already (c/o 2023), but once a band mom, always a band mom. I’ll be cheering on ALL of the bands on Saturday. Good luck!!!

let me say first of all i LOVE the uniforms (yall are the strait laced ones right?) 

imo yall have a rlly good show, band & guard looks GIANT on the field & clean (when i saw it back in early october)

all in all, 10/10 show! i think ill get to see yall on the 1st against dulles so if i do ill update this post to add more tidbits

Hey another guard member here, I haven’t watched your full show, but I really love the design of the show and the music and I love the guards uniforms. I just really love the show in general. It’s a really pretty show.

Yeah I sure hope it won’t be- it’ll probably just be like BOA Webster where it said that it would rain but then it didn’t 🤷🏼‍♀️
