Well they’ve always made finals and made state once and they will probably be stuck there years to come unless they somehow lack their production

this is probably a better judge of their show than the nightmare Waco run

our show from US band Dallas regionals. Not my favorite clip because you can hear the other bands drum line warming up lol but it’s the only one I can find right now. 
As a band dad we’re really trying to revitalize the culture here. They had a good thing going in the late 2010’s, that went south post covid. We’re doing what we can to get it back where it was going.

I found a video of their prelims run from US Bands and I think they might be a strong contender to BOA Waco finals (maybe 11th or 12th if they can really perform a great show.) and depending on their scores this weekend I could predict a high Area placement as well.

just to fact check, i believe rhs guard was placed 9th in guard and not 12th at usbands

They are being announced. The rest of region 3 is being announced at 8 o’clock

Personally, I would love to see Longview make finals at area like they used to when they were 4A (now 5A)

Longview is in 6A this year. I’m not sure about the whole military band thing but they got top 3 at the military state marching contest last year.

Since the Military State competition has started back in 2020, only 1 military band has gone through the Open Class State route, and that was Spring Hill in 2021 where they placed 21st/26 at 4A State. I doubt military schools will go through the Open Class route unless something major happens for the Military State process.

Correct I was there for the announcement but he had posted the result almost as soon as the bands were done performing. So I was just wondering if it was predictions or if he had early access to the ratings.

It's their first year competing as a 6A band.  They wanted to let you know they are here!
