What a fun Area contest this one was! Lots of bands performed *very* well. The top few in finals were close, I thought.

There were differences in how well several bands performed in Area prelims vs. finals, and then each of those compared to State performances (prelims\finals as well).

Sometimes that's how it goes. Every performance is its own beast. Sometimes you knock the top out of it and sometimes you stumble. I think resilience is one of the great lessons we can learn from musical competition.

I'm proud of all the Area F kids.
