TubaRed_89 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Like no other as in good? And what did you mean by every word of every judge? Quote
rdzsaxplaya Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 SGP really needs to work on bringing all the musical part of the show OUT!!!! kinda dissapointing when waiting to hear big sounds from a big looking band yet you stay in your seat wanting for more..... especially the soli's and it would have been nice if they kept the soli at the beg. a trumpet thing....but hey w/e gets the job done... TubaRed_89 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Wait a minute I'm confused now were SGP and GP there? Quote
rdzsaxplaya Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Yes...We performed in the morning and SGP performed in the afternoon Quote
TubaRed_89 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 What was your show? Never mind I see above, never mind I don't think we saw your show because we didn't get there till the afternoon. I'm so sorry if I caused any confusion. The whole time I was talking about SGP. I'm so sorry rdzsaxplaya for confusion I wish I had seen your show though. Quote

And what did you mean by every word of every judge? well we were required to write down on paper as much as we can that the judges said on tape and then in practice, we basically cleaned up A LOT Quote
TubaRed_89 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 We sometimes do that but for UIL concert we listen to our performance and write constructive critcism. Quote
rdzsaxplaya Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Its cool...now you see why i dont like performing in the morning....lol Quote
Warfact Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 hey rdzsaxplaya, i caught your show in the morning between working traffic and crowd control, and i dont really remember thinking anything bad of it.. just that you guys do need a little more practice... like everyone else has been saying, you guys still have a long time to make it better best of luck to you guys and everyone else Quote
rdzsaxplaya Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Yeah, judges really got us for useing "big band air" saying that for our size band we were producing alot of great sounds and a few sound leading to blasting...we've working that out these last few rehersal another good note is that we actuley got to plug in visuals today so i think were advancing Quote
