Xenon Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Wow. 9:00am for SFA. What an awful time for and band from so far away. Quote
Sicemb Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 I guess I should state that the times could change, this is just the original schedule sent Quote
mbui Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 QUOTE (Xenon @ Sep 15 2006, 10:07 AM) Wow. 9:00am for SFA. What an awful time for and band from so far away. Yeah, they were a late entry. Not surprised they got an early performance time. Look at Block 3! Haltom, The Woodlands & L.D. Bell back to back to back with Marcus rounding it out. Wow. Quote
Danpod Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Sanchez and I are gonna have to eat some extra nacho cheese to prepare us for that third block after lunch. Holla! Quote
mbui Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Just got word on a couple of bands: Ronald Reagan has pulled out of the Arlington Regional and will attend the Houston Regional a week later on the 14th. The Woodlands has pulled out of the Houston Regional and will attend the Arlington Regional on the 7th. Quote
bumbythebeach Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 who do you think will be the major players out of each block? and who do you think will make it to finals this time around? Quote
Danpod Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 I'll a podcast soon. I'll break it all down, old school. Quote
MartinHorn Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 Sandwhiched between James Bowie and Coppel, let's see how this turns out. Quote
titancoaster Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 go connally for block 2 (second choice is hebron), sfa for 1, Bell for block three, and Bowie for block 4 Quote
bumbythebeach Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 let's see...here's my opinion.. block 1: sfa block 2: hebron (what happened to creekview last year? 2 years ago they were doing pretty well. maybe they'll make a comeback. I've heard they're doing well) block 3: haltom, the woodlands, bell, marcus (crazy) block 4: richland, bowie, coppell Quote
gavinrh Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I'm likin how im not going to have to get up early for this competition. Quote
mbui Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Important info for those going to the Arlington Regional this weekend.... L.D. Bell will now perform at 10:15am instead of their old time of 1:30pm. Remember.....L.D. Bell at 10:15am in Prelims. Quote
Lustra.exe Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 does anyone know for sure if reagan or marcus will be there?!?!? i would really love to see their shows. Quote
Lustra.exe Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Danpod said: Marcus will. Reagan won't. thanks Quote

Sucks for those people, but it's a heck of a lot more convinient for me. I don't understand though, I thought past champions always went last in prelims. That's why I've hardly seen any live marching band shows in the past 3 years. Quote
Xenon Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Past Champions go last unless they choose not to for some reason. Maybe they have some sort of a conflict with something. Quote
mbui Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 QUOTE (Skippy @ Oct 5 2006, 01:07 AM) Yeah... everyone's going to miss them. That's why I've hardly seen any live marching band shows in the past 3 years. L.D. Bell would not have been able to perform last anyways. Ronald Reagan was the 2005 Arlington Regional champion. They were scheduled to perform last however before they withdrew from the competition. And hey Aaron, cheer SFA on for me! Better yet....do the "Be Remembered" motto for me. Quote
Skippy Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Oh, I was thinking Bell won Arlington last year for some reason... never mind. And yeah, hopefully there will be a lot of '05 and '06 SFA people there, and we can yell "Be Remembered" like they do every year. They better kick some ****. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 I think Bell won the year before last. That was the year Arlington got rained out and Hebron was the last to perform in the pouring rain. One of the most awesome performances I've ever done. Quote
Fortisimo Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 The time approaches... we are one minute away from the day of the competition. Quote
MartinHorn Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 The time has come, it has already begun! Quote
