China Spring HS- Smiles-

I really think this show has a lot of potential to possibly win state. The visuals looked really cool and I love the blue and yellow uniforms. They made a smiley face and a sad face as their opening sets. Overall, amazing job China Springs High School!!!!

Canton HS-

WOW! Canton is coming back with a vengeance this year and it will be interesting to see where they placed! They sounded great and marched very well! Amazing run Canton!

Celina HS- Royalty-

Amazing performance Celina! Really great music and marched with great techniques. They really showed why they are the 2x reigning state champion in 4A. Amazing run Celina!

Overall though, i really enjoyed all the small schools and can't wait to see what ya'll will be able to accomplish this season!

Rock Hill HS- Message in a Bottle-

Great run from Rock Hill!! I really liked their music, especially in the slow movement! The giant bottle props was really cool! Their marching needs a bit a work, but Overall, they did great! Great performance Rock Hill!!

Argyle HS-

Alright, their wall of sound is amazing! They are marching very well and have made a great adapt to the 5A classification these past few years. I just can't get over how well they sound! Their show is ready for not just Area, but a possible 5A state apperance and Grand Nationals apperance! Amazing job Argyle HS!

North Forney HS- Urban Lights-

HELLO North Forney! Great first hit! I have to say the uniforms look really cool! I like the color. Their brass sound amazing!!! They are also doing very well with their marching visuals and techniques. Amazing job to the flute soloist! Their closing hits were awesome! Amazing performance North Forney!!!

Frisco Memorial HS-

The techniques used in their music is incredible! They look amazing visually, I could really see this show be a area finalists this year at Area B. The trombone Quartet is also amazing! Their sound is seriously not something to sleep on. Their soloists in the slow movement sounded wonderful! I love how they have the woodwinds spin flags in the slow movement. This band you do not want to miss a performance of this year. Amazing run Memorial!!!!

Lakeview Centennial HS-

HELLO Lakeview! This band has been on a rise over the years and this year could finally be the one that pays off. They sound amazing and are doing great on the marching side! Lakeview is looking to advance to State out of Area C 5A and I think this is their year! Amazing performance Lakeview Centennial!

McKinney- Poured Lines-

McKinney coming in strong today with their performance! They have a really good sound and look amazing to watch on the field! The power they bring in sound is legit incredible. I have really enjoyed watching McKinney re-build and can't wait to see what the future has in store. They are ready for Area J. Amazing job McKinney!!!

Lone Star- The Other Side-

HELLO LONE STAR!!! They have an amazing wall of sound! I love their use of Hallelujah. They look amazing visually, but there were some lines that didn't line up (that shouldn't affect them). They did amazing overall! Thank you for the performance Lone Star!
