Expand Area C could be similar to Area D. They draw order after they perform at Region. I know they said next year that will change and they will do a randomized generated pre-draw before the season even starts. 5As & 6As are doing that this year from what I have heard. Quote

Gigger_Frog Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 AREA PRIDECTIONS IN NO ORDER tickets to state Celina- Judges like them alot for some reason.personaly think some of the dog fight schools have better shows. Farmersville- Great show, great soloist, wouldnt be suprised if first sulphur springs-same as farmersville lumberton - Look and sound like a 6a, could get first canton-very good band and can get the job done THE DOG FIGHT FOR 6,7 Van alstyne/paris/bridge city- needs slight develoupment but can very well get that spot pine tree- Needs much improment from last i saw, but they know what 5a state is sunnyvale- Beat Van alstyne in area last year almost beat farmersville AREA FINALISTS-great bands but either ok music or ok marching but can get into finals. criscubes Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 It's super interesting seeing the predictions from early on in the season comoared to now. Before, Celina was unanimously agreed to be 1st, but now it seems that they are favored second with either Sulphur Springs or Farmersville taking the first place spot. North Lamar and Paris were also placed pretty high as the season started but have seemed to settle at the lower spots as area approaches. Unlike other years, I haven't noticed Canton be mentioned a lot where as last year I would pretty much see their name in every predictions post. It seems this season has really mixed up compared to previous years and those bands that used to be in thw shadows of other programs are coming into the spotlight with something to show. Expand Having seen both bands a few times, North Lamar is significantly above Paris. I think they have a shot at redeeming themselves a bit this year. It’s the strongest NL band I’ve seen in the past few years. Nowhere near 2010s caliber but so much better than the last few years. Paris has a cute show. I love the Paris, Texas Eiffel Tower. I do not know if it is state level but with the number of bands advancing from this region they might have a chance. Bray 1 Quote
