Okay, so it looks like this will be a relatively small area contest. 28 bands have made Area, meaning that 10 will make finals and 5 will make State. Very competitive!

Thank you so much I was told it was a lot better this week than last week! I can only say what I heard cuz I was standing behind a prop lol I haven’t got to see video of it yet

anyways, now that we actually have a list of all prelims contestants, who do we think is going to finals, and making state?

A little reply (quote for this, sorry I am new at this), but I am from one of the Region 2 schools that are advancing to the Area Marching Contest, and I wanted to say that I hope that my school does advance to state, but also just a good luck for all the other schools that performed and made it to area as well, I can't wait to see your marching performance!

I'm just curious for what everyone here thinks, but from the schools that advanced to area, which schools from each of the regions (2,5,etc.) do you think will be advancing to finals and potentially be in the top 5 bands to go to state?

All bands have a chance to advance to State, but in terms based on region, these are the bands I could see potentially advance to finals (bold are bands that I think could also advance on to state)-

Thanks for your input! I was just asking cause I was curious and also I'm hoping to go to state marching with my school (I may be a marcher at one of the schools in the region 2 that you bolded that you think will go to state). I think that Lake Dallas will hopefully have a chance to go to state (if that school does extremely well in prelims and finals), and also Panther Creek (I saw their show and it was really amazing). Again, quoting you, I also hope that everyone does have a good run, and I can't wait to see all the shows that I can be able to see at Area!
