According to Lumberton’s Band calendar They will be attending as well

That's neat! When they last competed in 2021, they placed 18th/26. Hoping this year they move up, and with the epic show reveal, I think they absolutely could. Was there any other Competitions listed in that band calendar other than UIL?

The only other one on their schedule is a local one at PNG on October 5 and of course the normal UIL. And yes, we are all very very excited for the show this year. I have seen the garden uniforms and I love them. I can’t share them yet, but I love them. They also have a bigger guard this year than they’ve had the last couple. Very, very excited.

I am too really excited. With Area C getting to be extremely competitive now, I'm just hoping Lumberton tightens up on the visual front as numerous times in the past, its been the visual department that kills Lumberton. I can not wait for the fall!! 😁

Not sure if LSP noticed this but I think they have (in the shadows) silently released who is all coming to this year's event. In their Facebook posts, they tend to tag every band that normally attends. So here are the bands that have been tagged in the more recent posts.

  • Bridgeland HS
  • Caney Creek HS
  • Clear Brook HS
  • College Park HS
  • Cy-Ranch HS
  • Cypress Springs HS
  • Klein Cain HS
  • Klein Collins HS
  • Klein Forest HS
  • Klein HS
  • Klein Oak HS
  • Lumberton HS
  • Magnolia HS
  • Magnolia West HS
  • North Shore Senior HS
  • Oak Ridge HS
  • Splendora HS
  • Tomball Memorial HS
  • West Fork HS

That's 19 bands as of 3 days ago. Is it 100% confirmed, no not yet. But I believe many of the bands tagged are in fact confirmed on going. I think Jersey Village dropped this contest.

Excited to see how NSS holds against Bridgeland, who id say is the favorite to win, though Clear Brook could also make a statement. Really strong lineup!

Would it be just slightly crazy for me to say that Lumberton could be a dark horse for Finals? Having seen half of their show already, it has full potential to shine here.

They are totally sounding like a much bigger band than what they actually are.

are they all gonna get to eat at Tris??? lol. maybe i shouldn't plant that idea bc it's expensive. but it is maaaaybe the best restaurant in the entire Houston area, which is saying a lot bc H-town has a fabulous food scene. i lived in NYC, and in my experience Houston's food is *gasp* better!! 👀
